Summary:
The Center For Family Learning is looking for an energetic and imaginative preschool teacher to join our team of educators. The preschool teacher will be responsible for using the Creative Curriculum to create engaging lesson plans, working with children one-on-one to develop their strengths and interests, and preparing students for kindergarten. A successful candidate will have a playful personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom of 16 three and four-year-olds. 

Responsibilities:

• Reports to administration.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan curriculum for the children in the classroom that is developmentally appropriate and helps children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. This includes supporting children who need potty training.
• Plan for personalized instruction to enable each student to meet his/her individual learning goal through TS Gold data collection.
• Implement the daily programs.
• Attend weekly classroom team meetings.
• Support diaper changing.
• Attend at least 15 hours of in-service training per school year as agreed upon with the principal/director.
• Be willing to achieve at least a level 2 credential in Colorado Shines QRIS.
• Be familiar with state regulations as well as with the Program Policies of the CFL Preschool. 

Qualifications: 
• Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
• Must hold and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Early Childhood Teaching Credential (ECT).
• Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
• Preferred - minimum of 1-year experience in preschool education (as shown by a positive reference from a former employer supervisor in the preschool education field).
• Preferred - 3 semester hours in the area of child development.
