The Telluride School District is seeking an energetic, student centered teacher for our HS Science program. Applicant must be a Colorado certified teacher with a Secondary Science endorsement. Out of state applicants will be considered if they can qualify for a Colorado license.

Position Purpose 
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in one or more fields of science, including general science, environmental science, and chemistry; develops students skills and abilities in scientific methods and problem-solving, as well as an understanding of the application of science in the solution of practical problems. 


Certification
Colorado certified teacher with a Secondary endorsement. Out of state applicants will be considered if they can qualify for a Colorado license.

Education
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Secondary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Master’s Degree in related areas preferred.

Experience
Experience teaching Chemistry and middle school (7-8) preferred
