Student Support & Intervention Director

Yuma School District-1 is accepting applications for the position of Student Support and Intervention Director for the 2025-2026 school year. There will be flexibility on whether this is a part-time or full-time position.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree with a CDE license. Prefer a Master's Degree with special education endorsement. The ideal candidate will have a successful background in Special Education or Intervention.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee programs and services that promote student success and well-being. This includes ensuring the effective implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
• Provide direct supervision of intervention and support staff, including counselors, social workers, and other specialists.
• Coordinate paraeducator services to ensure effective support for students.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to provide targeted interventions and resources, monitoring the effectiveness of these services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations, working to continuously improve support systems that help students thrive academically and personally.
YSD-1 offers a competitive salary schedule and benefits package with a 4-day week school calendar (Tuesday through Friday).

Salary: $68,000 to $80,000/year (full-time salary amount- part-time will be prorated) depending on experience and education.
