Monte Vista School District is accepting applications for two Secondary Special Education Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.

Desired qualifications and experience include:

• Current Colorado Teaching License

• Knowledge of best practices in research-based instruction

• Collaborative approach to problem solving, lesson design, data analysis, etc.

• Ability to work well with others

• Self-motivated

• Organized yet flexible

• Knowledge of grade level standards is preferred

• Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is desirable

• Ability to differentiate for a wide variety of student achievement levels

The District operates on a 4-day week (Monday – Thursday) and offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefit package including employee health, dental, vision, HSA match, and life coverage. Placement on the salary schedule will be determined by education and experience at time of hire.
