Salary: Salary will be based on prior leadership experience. Range to be from $105,000 - $120,000

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• Valid Colorado principal license with appropriate endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Master’s Degree or higher.
• Experience as an Athletic Coach or as an Athletic Director.

Preferred:
• Minimum of three years prior leadership experience at the secondary level.
• Demonstrated experience working with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated leadership highlighting experiences and successes working with students and families on how to be successful in the educational process. 
• Prior successful building level leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating or working with RtI/PBIS teams.
• Such alternatives to the above as the Board may deem to be necessary and appropriate.
• Bilingual. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
To assist the school principal and to perform duties that enhance the educational experiences of high school students through participation in activities and athletic events.

Essential Functions and Characteristics:
• Assist principal with instructional duties
o Assist with student discipline procedures.
o Assist with School Attendance.
o Instructional observations and coaching. 
o Athletic eligibility checks.
o Assist with vertical and horizontal alignment.
o Parent communication and support.
o IEP attendance as a designee.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
• Athletic/Activities Director
o Supervise school athletic events and activities.
o Hire and evaluate athletic coaches and activity sponsors.
o Schedule school activities and athletic events.
o Schedule and verify officials for athletic events.
o Provide game workers and book-keepers for athletic events.
o Organize Concession Stands for events. 
o Represent the building at League Meetings.
o Prepare and administer the activity program budget including supplies, uniforms and equipment.
o Manage Athletic Facilities. 
o Coordination of all field trip and off-site athletic activities.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
