Chief Academic Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to join our team. The role of the CAO is to work with the Superintendent in leading the district's efforts to provide a vertically aligned and horizontally implemented core academic curriculum.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

- Analyze data and prepare reports for Superintendent and School Board consideration.
- Analyze and interpret student state assessment data to recommend district improvement decisions.
- Work collaboratively with Principals and Instructional Coaches to ensure implementation of curriculum, assessments, and best practices.
-Assisting in the implementation and observance of all School Board policies and regulations identified under policy IGA- Curriculum Development.

Requirements
- Possess an MS or MA degree in Education from an accredited University.
-Have a deep knowledge of Curriculum Alignment, Curriculum Management, and Continuous Improvement.
- Five (5) years of experience teaching or instructional coaching.
- Must have the ability to work effectively with administrators, teachers, building instructional coaches, outside consulting firms, state and federal officials, and other C&I professionals.
- Must have excellent skills in verbal and written communication.
-Multiple years of administrative experience is preferred.

Pay: From $92,850.00 per year
